Teach Simple

For the AI Tinkerers Hackathon, we’re working on a project called Teach Simple, where we’re building a bot that leverages OpenAI’s Realtime API and the O1 model for reasoning. Our bot is designed to help explain complex topics using the Feynman Technique, which breaks down concepts into simple, easy-to-understand language. It will listen to user inputs in real time, process them with the Realtime API, and provide clear, step-by-step explanations. Our goal is to create an interactive learning assistant that simplifies complicated ideas and fosters active engagement.
This prototype would be best utilized in the education industry, where teachers must often pick up complex topics quickly, and then communicate the information to their students. There are few tools to assist them in this process, and this app would fill a need.
