Ultimate Agents Hackathon - $5k+ total prizes

A small, high-signal day for people who ship.

Apply to attend our biggest hackathon yet!!! With over (as of now) $5000 in total prizes to be won, brought to you by AI Tinkerers, Vibe Kanban, Dedalus Labs, Manus, DeepL, and hosted at the Betaworks venture studio.

We’ll be focussing on key recent areas of AI progress:

• Browser agents
• Voice agents
• Cloud agents
• MCP / tool use
• Image/video agents

Signing up as a Team

To ensure your team members are all accepted, after registration:

• Navigate to the teams page
• Create a new team
• Invite your team members using the email invite feature
• Your team members must accept the invite and fill out profile info before the team can be considered

Note, if your team members have signed up to an AI Tinkerers event before, make sure to use the same email.

​Who Should Apply

​Your projects make it past localhost. You’ve shipped agents, tooling, or infra, or you can show relevant repos and experience.

​What to Expect

Doors open at 9:00am on Saturday. IDs will be checked by security at the door.

The kickoff talk starts at 9:30am sharp with team formation taking place immediately after. The rest of the day will consist of focussed building fuelled by snacks, energy drinks, coffee, la croix, lunch and dinner. Vegan, vegetarian, and health-conscious options available.

Building ends at 6pm followed by finalist presentations.

We’ll wrap up by 8pm.

Prizes

The total prize pool currently sits at $5k. We will release further info on the message board which is available to all accepted applicants.

Rules & Submission Criteria

• Prizes will be awarded to the winning project in each track.
• Additional prizes may be offered by some of the hackathon partners, eg “best use of [technology]”
• The winning project will be chosen by a panel of expert judges, invited from the startup community and hackathon partners
• Full terms of awards and prizes to be announced soon

​Selection & Format

​Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Teams of up to 4 are welcome; there will be time for solo builders to form teams on site. Attendance of the kickoff session and demoing in-person is mandatory for all accepted participants. Applicants who turn up to the event, but do not participate in a meaningful may be banned from future AI Tinkerers NYC events - spaces are for builders only.

Logistics

​Bring your laptop and charger. The location of the venue will be shared with accepted attendees.
