Kibu

Project Concept

We all work for a startup called Kibu. We built documentation software for Disability Providers, which are entities that provide care to adults with special needs. We’re toying with the idea of using real-time voice to help staff members complete their required notes on each member at the end of the day. Ideally, a non-technical staff can just have a back-and-forth conversation with Kibu about their members’ days, and Kibu will log it in structured documentation. If anything is missing or insufficient, Kibu will ask follow-up questions.

Customer Success at Kibu
Prompt engineering, architecture, design
I’m the VP of Customer Success at Kibu living in NYC. I’ve worked as an automation engineer, project manager, and solution architect. I also have a fascination with product, edtech, and why tech companies do the things they do.
Trying to learn how other SaaS startups are integrating LLMs into their product. Successes, failures, scaling best practices, etc.
- Ben Thompson Chatbot: a RAG-based chatbot on Stratechery articles - FirstMover: a native app that lets you get StreetEasy notifications before anyone else - Various internal tooling and proof-of-concepts at our SaaS startup, Kibu.

Mr. at Kibu
Backend, Frontend, Prompt engineering
Hey, I'm Justin! I'm 27 years old and I was born in Greenwich CT. All my life I've always loved learning how things work and how to make my dreams become realities. When I was 16 I developed my first web application that my entire senior class used to play/manage a popular game. Ever since then I've become obsessed with building the things that excite me, and seeing other people enjoy what brought me so much joy to make. I went to college at Elon University and studied CS, did many internships in both big and small tech companies, and eventually got my first job shortly after school at a company called an IOT startup - Preddio. Since then I've spent the past the ~3 years building Kibu and it's been an absolute blast.
I'm interested in the cutting edge of front-end web dev, LLMs, and AI in general.
I'm building Kibu - a SaaS product for disability providers. We offer educational material as well as a dashboard product that helps our clients automate and enhance the back office work. https://kibuhq.com
