Project Description
Your native language is strongest connection to your culture and roots. As a recent immigrant from an African country, I talk a lot of first generation immigrants from Africa. They feel lost, they do not feel fully American but cannot connect to people from their homeland.
People in their homeland expect them to know their native language and treat them like outsiders for the simple fact that they were raised in a different continent.
Learning a language requires full immersion, I am building a tool to help children in the USA born into African immigrant families learn and practice their native language guided by AI Voice. The conversations are tailored to their age and interests to keep them engaged, helping them build conversational knowledge
