Akash Lal Team Lead RSVP Approved

Student at Stevens Institute of Technology
Current Freshmen at stevens institute, solo builder. Built the Next.js Claude interface, wired Redis Agent Memory Server v1 endpoints for working + long-term memory, added diagnostics/health endpoint, and integrated Tavus Live Audio so users can speak naturally with the assistant. Implemented local embeddings to remove OpenAI dependency and improved error handling + UX in the memory modal.
Akash Lal is a Computer Science student at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey, currently open to work. His technical work includes an SMS/email spam detection system using Python, scikit-learn, and TF-IDF, as well as Java implementations of data structures and algorithms. Akash also practices end-to-end model development through machine learning experiments documented in Jupyter notebooks based on Andrew Ng’s curriculum. He is looking for speaking opportunities and is open to introductions.

Projects include an SMS/email spam detection system using Python, scikit-learn, and TF-IDF to build ML/NLP pipelines. Technical work also features Java-based implementations of data structures and algorithms, including ArrayQueue, LinkedList, and various sorting methods. Additionally, machine learning experiments are documented via Jupyter notebooks based on Andrew Ng’s curriculum to practice end-to-end model development.
