Ryan Rotella Team Lead RSVP Approved
Student/Design Engineer at NYU student
project management, full-stack engineering (Claude Code), Systems Engineering (Redis), Back-End Engineering, API Development, documentation
Ryan Rotella is a graduate student at NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program, bridging technical performance and human-centered design. With experience as a Software Test Analyst and Junior Software Engineer, he specializes in full-stack development (React, Python, JavaScript, Swift) and AI/ML prompt engineering. Ryan builds meaningful tech experiences through freelance web development and explores creative applications of technology in 3D, projection mapping, and much more.
AI/ML & design engineering, human-centered design & technical performance, 3D and AI, Mixed Reality Performance, projection mapping, Virtual Production
Tinkering with Computer Vision/AR to blend digital and physical computing. Tinkered on a AI/ML wearable prototype that captures real-time conversations and networking. Exploring how new technologies can incorporate with live performance.
Ege RSVP Approved
designer/creative techologist at tezcan
Swift/SwiftUI, front-end development and design (UI/UX), ideation, project management
Ege Tezcan is a designer and creative technologist working at the intersection of AI, human-centered design, and interactive systems. With a background in Media & Visual Arts and Psychology, and currently pursuing a Master’s at NYU ITP as a Fulbright Scholar, he designs products and experiences that bridge technology and human meaning. His work explores digital memory, AI transparency, and computational storytelling through research-driven design and rapid prototyping.
Human-centered AI, AI transparency and ethics, digital memory systems, conversational interfaces, emerging interaction paradigms, and the intersection of design, cognition, and computation. I’m especially interested in collaborating on AI-driven products, research in HCI, and interdisciplinary projects that translate complex technologies into intuitive, meaningful user experiences.
I’m currently developing an AI-powered digital memory platform that helps individuals document and preserve personal and family stories in meaningful, structured ways. Alongside this, I’m prototyping interactive systems that explore human-centered AI, transparency in algorithmic decision-making, and physical computing interfaces that translate data into tangible experiences.
Fabrizio Guccione RSVP Approved
Student at NYU
system prompting, full-stack engineering (Claude Code), User Testing, documentation, ideation
Embedded Intelligence Designer focused on AI-driven interactive systems and generative pipelines. My work bridges machine learning, physical computing, and fabrication to create immersive experiences. I’m an NYU ITP graduate with production experience across research labs, agencies, and fashion.
I'm looking to connect with people working on AR systems, real time AI pipelines, and the integration of 3D into interactive experiences. Interested in how generative models can be combined with body tracking, depth sensing, and spatial computing. I'm also thinking a lot about how the web is fundamentally 2D and how that limits our ability to relate to and understand digital experiences the way we do physical ones. Exploring spatial layouts and 3D interfaces as a way to bridge that gap.
At MIT's HARDMODE hackathon, every team was building AI for screens. We built ours into a lighter. Closer to the Fire is real and functional. Open the lid, answer an intimate question, hear back what a stranger once confessed. Something that echoes yours. Lighters give strangers a reason to stand together, share space, and talk without needing one. One of the greatest pieces of accidental social design ever made.
Summer Hwang RSVP Approved
Student at NYU
front-end development and design, ideation, documentation
Hyejoon (Summer) Hwang is an HCI / UX Designer, Interactive Media Artist, and Technologist, currently a Graduate Student at New York University (NYU) in the Interactive Telecommunications Program (MPS). With 6 years of experience, Summer's skills include creative coding and immersive media, alongside VFX compositing expertise. They are open to full-time and contract work, and are seeking speaking opportunities. Summer's interests span HCI/UX design, physical computing, and web-based creative projects.
HCI/UX design, interactive media, creative coding, physical computing, immersive media, web-based creative projects
The itp-blog project is a technical web publishing platform built using Quartz v4, TypeScript, SCSS, and JavaScript. Ongoing work involves developing interactive media artifacts and creative coding prototypes that bridge physical computing and HCI/UX design. These projects focus on building production-ready front-end code for web-based creative platforms and exploring immersive media through technical experimentation, asset integration, and hands-on prototyping.
