Browser Buddy is a proactive AI side‑panel that turns browsing into a live workspace instead of a reactive chat. As you move through pages, it auto‑organizes what you’re seeing into emoji workspaces, surfaces next‑best actions, and spins up focused conversations with context already loaded—so the interface itself drives the work. It feels less like messaging a bot and more like operating a command center that’s thinking ahead of you.

Also, it highlights how AI can become proactive instead of reactive. For example, if you have a collection on “Movies to Watch” and you are looking at a website about a particular movie, it will surface a suggestion proactively to add it to your movie list - even via MCP if your list lives in an external source (Google Drive, Notion, etc).

- @anthropic‑ai/claude‑agent‑sdk for streaming chat - Composio (claude‑agent‑sdk + core) to surface connected tools inside the UI. - Convex + convex‑ents for real‑time data - Express for the local server that brokers Claude queries and page processing. - Tailwind CSS - WXT + React + TypeScript for the browser extension and side‑panel UI.
