Software Engineer at Contrivance Inc
Built the entire project end to end: the acoustic emotion engine (emotion2vec+ + openSMILE prosody fused with an LLM lexical read into a V-A-D state), the FastAPI GPU inference service, the qwen3/Ollama tone-adapted reply generation, and inline expressive speech via the ElevenLabs Flash v2.5 API with emotion-driven voice_settings. Also built the web concierge UI, the emotion-gated media tiles, the distress-vs-anger safety guardrail, the tiered fallback ladder, and the evaluation dashboard.
I was born and raised in Uganda, did all my university education in the US at the University of South Florida and City University of New York. Very interested in multimodal AI systems and their applications.
